Woodfired Evaporator
    • Recommended for between 250 to 1200 taps.
    • System with 1 or 2 flat bottom interchangeable syrup pans.
    • 7" tig welded drop or raised flue pans available.
    • Available Sizes: from 2' x 6' up to 2 1/2' x 10'
    • Reversible models available.
    • Evaporation rate of 2 - 2.5 gallons per square foot per hour.
 Woodfired Evaporator
    • System with 1, 2 or 3 flat bottom interchangeable syrup pans and one long flue pan with 7" flues. 7" tig welded drop or raised flues.
    • Heavy duty and watertight interconnections between pans.
    • 1/4" dial thermometer fitting.
    • Always the same extra strong manufacturing that made CDL/Dallaire equipment so famous.
    • Pans are made from top quality non-magnetic stainless steel 22 gauge, type 304.
    • Suitable for any additions such as: Preheater hood, woodsaver, etc. offered by CDL/Dallaire.
    • Available: Sizes from 2 1/2' x 12' up to 6' x 20'
    • Reversible models available.
    • 7" flue models have an evaporation rate of 3 gallons per square foot per hour.
    • Optional all stainless steel fittings package available - Now Brass and Copper free

Premium Quality Stainless Steel #304 (Non-magnetic), heavy duty 22 guage.
 
When choosing an evaporator, we calculate the size based on the following assumptions:

Average sap yield: 1 gallon per tap, per day
Average boiling day: 10 hours (plus 1 hour for morning start up & 1 hour for evening shut down)
Example: If you had 500 taps, we would recommend a 2 1/2' x 10' evaporator.

  • Complete evaporators come with all pans, connections, arch, all castings, and the smoke stack. Firebricks and related materials are extra.

REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR ALL MAKES.

 

We work closely with CDL/Dallaire as our manufacturer of Evaporators, Pans & Hoods. They also make replacement pans and hoods for other models, makes and manufacturers of these items
